Smooth, balanced workflow of equipment can lead to continuous run without slowing down production. Balancing equipment running time and the piece-by-piece throughput rate is important for maintaining high productivity.

Detailed Description

This course will provide the technical knowhow to apply cycle time configuration for all types of equipment flow in the factory. Participants will learn about integrating cycle time of unit flow to cycle time of batch flow by changing the design of the flow process. In the back-end area, loading and unloading are required to be done concurrently with long machine test time which necessitates layout redesign to allow for ease of operations to meet the pitch time target.
