Overview of CIMCA

The training is designed to develop trainer capability to prepare and deliver instructional training skill sets to upgrade the know-how of the workforce as well as to be able to assess their level of competency after the training.

There is a dire need for the workforce in all areas of industry to upgrade their skill and be competent in carrying out their jobs. Providing the necessary training as well as ensuring the needed competency of the workforce is a necessary function of the human resource management to ensure the special needs of the workforce are catered to.


The Training Focus of CIMCA

The 5-day training will cover all the vital trainers’ skills that must be developed so that the trainers are able to conduct effective training and assess the competency of the workforce in their respective functional area. This is becoming more important as industry world-wide are grasping with fast changing technology and the workforce must be geared up quickly to be able to undertake work task to meet the changing technical demands for quantity products and services.

Day 2: How to Develop Instructional Training Material
Day 3: How to Develop the Instructional Training Skills
Day 4: How to Conduct the Training Lesson
Day 5: How to Prepare for Assessment


Course Material

The 5-day training will be provided with completed course material with full details for each of the 5-day training.


Who Should Attend

The 5-day training will be useful to those who are currently conducting training or who are about to embark on a training career in the company. It is also suitable for those trainers who are now learning how to design, conduct and assess learning competency to advance operators’ skill for the whole plant.


How is the Training Conducted?

The first part of the morning training session will be focused on Theory and Learning Lessons. The afternoon training session will be catered for Workshop Exercises and Practice. Since the workshop sessions are quite extensive, the instructor will pace the workshop activities over the morning and afternoon sessions to fit the learning session time available. This way, learning is application-guided and learners will be able to follow the sequential path to develop the expertise of a good trainer. The instructor will also provide samples of his own documentation and forms to serve as guide for the participants in developing their own training materials.


Participants’ Presentation

During the session involving participants’ presentation, participants will perform dual role as presenters and as observers to others’ presentation to provide feedback on how the presentation could be improved further.
