Brief Description of Analysis Tools
APRC MTM-1 Excel-based Analysis Tool
This tool speeds up MTM-1 application by a factor of 10, making it easy to develop and set time standards. You only need to specify the motion and 1 to 3 parameters for the methods employed and the Effective TMU is calculated for you. MTM-1 is ideally suited for measurement of manufacturing assembly with engineering precision.
APRC MTM-2 Excel-based Analysis Tool
This tool is designed for ease of use and to facilitate MTM-2 coding. It calculates the cycle time for Qualified Operator and Skilful Operator rate of work. It is very useful for standard data development and development of methods and time data for costing, estimating, and training of operators.
APRC Mini-MOST Excel-based Analysis Tool
This tool is suitable for those who are trained to apply Mini-MOST through certification provided by APRC and is specially customized for use in repetitive assembly work to achieve a high degree of measurement.
APRC Basic-MOST Excel-based Analysis Tool
This user-friendly tool is designed for those who are certified in Basic-MOST to accelerate the development of accurate time standards. Offering the most effective solution for engineers, cost-estimators, supply chain engineers and others who are responsible for managing the cost of change in manufacturing operational methods, this tool is a must-have for all manufacturing organizations for cost-estimating, manpower requirement planning, and plant capacity analysis.
APRC Admin-MOST Excel-based Analysis Tool
This tool enables users to measure and develop Administrative Work Cycle Time and determine the best way to distribute workload across the work centre. All clerical and administrative work, including reading, writing, checking, document handling and other relevant activities are included. This is really an ingenious lean work measurement tool for the office work environment.
APRC Maxi-MOST Excel-based Analysis Tool
For those who are trained in Maxi-MOST, this tool facilitates the calculation of Process Cycle Time for all types of long cycle activities in areas such as:
1. Material handling activities in warehousing and distribution.
2. Engineering work activities in machine operation environments.
3. Manufacturing operations with operators setting up, unloading and loading material, and operating machines.
4. Installation work at site with material movement using various modes of transport.
5. Building activities at construction sites.
APRC Lean Value Stream Excel-based Analysis Tool
This tools helps users quickly evaluate the Value Stream Workflow with just a few operational parameter inputs to arrive at the Delivery Cycle Time and also provides options for varying the quantity that flows along the various operational activities by taking into consideration the Pitch Time, Pitch Quantity, Setup Time, Number of Machines, etc. Besides being used in calculating the Delivery Cycle Time for manufacturing workflows, the tool can also be used in engineering projects to set project completion targets.
APRC Master Sewing Data Excel-based Analysis Tool
This tool accelerates the analysis of Sewing Operations where machines run at varying speeds. To establish the Standard Time, the user inputs parameters such as Speed, Length of sew, Stitches per centimetre, Main Activity, and the Work Method Category.
MSD is based on standard data for MTM-2 and is rated to be highly accurate for the sewing industry. The MSD codes are customizable for unique in-house processes and applications.
The tool has been priced economically to encourage companies to try it out and see the results for themselves. Master Sewing Data delivers:
a) Ease of customization
b) Ease of use
c) Fast application
